My take on Granola bar, ever wonder how they are made ... The mystery is gone !


Almond ,cranberry, chocolate chip granola bar

I made the choice to go on this journey because i wanted to have a healthy way to eat almonds  and actually enjoy my snack .
 

Ingredient 

2 1/2 cups old fashioned rolled oats

1/2 cup whole almonds , chopped 

1/3 cup of honey 

1/4 of unsalted butter , cut in pieces 

1/4 light brown sugar 

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract    

2 cups  dried cranberries 

1/4 cup +2 tablespoon mini chocolate chips 


Directions : 

- Heat oven to 350 degrees 

-On an aluminum foil add almond and oats for 5 minutes lightly toasted

- Combine butter , honey, brown sugar, vanilla extract and 1 pinch of salt . Cook until everything is melted 

- Combine almond + oats+ chocolate + dry cranberries + combine sauce ( mix well)

-  On an aluminium foil pyrex spread the mixture evenly

- Put the seated aluminum pyrex for 2 hours in the fridge 

- Cut into 12 equal parts 

- Wait for it to be at room temperature 


Tips: 

=The salt can be optional , I personally love the sweet and salty taste  so if that's not your jam ; you don't   have to .

=you can change the dry cranberries with any other dry fruits that you like .
